Newest section of Rail Trail to be built
OCEANSIDE — A 2,000-foot section of the 44-mile Rail Trail from the San Luis Rey River in Oceanside to the Santa Fe Depot in downtown San Diego has received SANDAG funding and can now move forward with its design process and construction.

SOLANA BEACH — Arts Alive on the Coastal Rail Trail 2012 takes place between noon and 4 p.m. Oct. 6 along Coast Highway between the San Elijo Lagoon and Lomas Santa Fe Drive.
