Transitioning Through Divorce & Beyond is a customized, interactive coaching group for women who are going through divorce or are recently divorced.
Group goals include clarifying what you really want, improving your confidence, getting support and discovering how divorce can be a catalyst for positive change and growth in your life. Optional readings and recommended resources will be provided.
Patty Sommer, MSW, has developed a unique process of customized group coaching to meet each participant's needs. This bi-monthly supportive group will allow you to clarify, focus and follow through on what you need to do to move forward. Group themes may include:
** Your new identity as a free woman
** Creating a supportive community of like-minded women
** Addressing residual feelings from the divorce
** Increasing confidence; identifying your gifts and strenghts
** Parenting as a single mom (if applicable)
** Navigating the dating world after divorce
** Developing your vision for your future
Patty Sommer, MSW, has developed a unique 2-step approach designed to meet each participant's needs, while also honoring the group as a whole:
1. Pre-Group, she meets with each group member to assess your individual situation, expectations and goals
2. Based on this input, Patty begins the first session by leading the group in developing the 6 session themes that will best meet everyone's needs.
Patty is a skilled life coach and group facilitator who helps her clients get in touch with their own truth. She uses a heart-centered and practical approach, drawing from her 23 years in business, as well as her knowledge, training, intuition and experience as a coach, 4-time business owner, marketing director, social worker and mid-life woman and mother to guide her. She also has recent personal experience with the divorce process.
Patty's clients tell her they come to her because of who she is: non-judgmental, supportive, enthusiastic, down-to-earth, spiritual, genuine and caring. She believes that women can do whatever they set their mind, heart and action to and is passionate about supporting them thru this powerful and effective growth process.
