Poway Stamp Show – What’s In Your Attic? The Poway Stamp Club will hold its annual Stamp Show, POWPEX 2009, with free admission and free parking on the 14th and 15th of November 2009 at the Al Bahr Shrine Center, 5440 Kearny Mesa Road, San Diego, CA 92111. This year’s Show will feature a “What’s In Your Attic?” theme as a public service, encouraging the general public to bring in stamp collections and accumulations of old mail for appraisal at no cost by experienced dealers. Show hours will be 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday the 14th and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday the 15th. The Show will feature free stamps for children and new collectors and a showroom of approximately 20 dealers with stamps and postal history from around the world. POWPEX is a great educational, no cost outing for the entire family as well as for the new and old collector.
