Officials unveil bench in late-Councilwoman’s name

City officials and others sit on a bench dedicated to the late Encinitas Councilwoman Maggie Houlihan.

The bench was unveiled last Thursday at the opening of a new affordable housing unit in Leucadia called Iris. Houlihan, who passed away from cancer a year and a half ago, was among the project’s supporters.
