OMA launches Museum Month

COAST CITIES — Oceanside Museum of Art invites all to a Museum Month kick-off party, 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 2, at 704 Pier View Way, that coincides with OMA exhibition openings: “In Search of Shadows: James Hubbell Sculpture” and “Synesthesia: Manifestations of Energy,” paintings by Ellen Salk and sound by Christopher Adler. Museum Month offers half-off admission at 42 San Diego-area museums throughout the month of February.Museum Month provides opportunities to explore San Diego County’s latest exhibits at museums for free with a wide range of interests including art, science, sports, children’s’ creativity, world cultures, maritime, history and more.
