Any member of either group that claims failure is a member who is NOT working the program. It’s not an easy road to travel. Then again, anything worthwhile is not easy!

I should know; I have been a Gamanon member for many years, and was in that room down the hall.

Another sad fact is that – for various reasons – 70% of gambling addiction therapies fail. That makes the number of gamblers with sustainable success in recovery very small. Self-help groups like this one are great, they can really increase the likelihood of overcoming the addiction.
