Revolving art show opens

OCEANSIDE — View an exhibit of art and meet the artists at a reception at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 19 at El Corazon Senior Center, 3302 Senior Center Drive. Exhibiting artists will be on hand to talk with visitors about their art. Staff members will conduct tours of the facility and provide information available for seniors and members of the community.The open house is the first to be held under a the “El Corazon Art Program, instituted by the city of Oceanside, Parks and Recreation Division, Neighborhood Services, and is dedicated to bringing art to the community at the El Corazon and Country Club Senior Centers.

Exhibits will be changed approximately four times yearly at each of two Senior Centers, and local artists are invited to attend and participate. Local artists interested in exhibiting at the El Corazon Senior Center or the Country Club Senior Center are asked to contact B. A. Stuber at (760) 732-0399 or email to [email protected]
