The cost of labeling foods that contain GMOs really should not be a problem since all of the big companies are already labeling for products they send to Europe because Europe demands that all foods containing GMOs be labeled as such.

The other option, and one which many of the large food producers in the US are doing for the products they send overseas including Kraft and Kelloggs is to NOT PUT GMOs IN THE FOODS THEY SEND OVERSEAS. That way no labeling costs and a greatly reduced demand for GMO. It's that simple

It's not going to drive up food prices or add to lawsuits for manufacturer to have to add something to their labels. Companies update labels all the time and they'll have 18 months to add it.

We don't need to sue companies to have them put calorie counts on a label and that's required by law as well.

The companies that are against Prop 37 are the companies that make genetically engineered food. If they're so proud of their gmos, why are they fighting labeling?

Almost 50 other countries label these foods. We have a right to know whats in our food and a right to choose what we want to feed our children. Join millions of consumers who want the right to know, Vote Yes on Prop 37!
