Being a council member includes modeling good behavior and expecting staff members to perform at a professional and truthful way. It means making sure that the City Manager and City Attorney are up to their jobs–and if not–find ones who are.

Most of all, being a council member means listening to the citizens. The ones who didn’t care to show up are telling us somethaing about their willingness to serve US.
