That would be a strategic mistake, given the bad press mayor Stocks has received lately.
On the subject of fiscal conservatism, voting for the $8m revenue bond to finance the Hall property and improvement at Moonlight Beach clearly show that Muir is not that strong of a fiscal Conservative. You have to walk the walk if you are going to make such claims.
Vague answer on the housing element, which is probably wise given this is such a hot button issue. By being vague you try to appeal to everybody. But vagueness is not what we need when it comes to the GPU. Leadership is what’s desperately needed here.
On the subject of Pension Reform, if Mr. Muir is for it, how about he starts by cutting his $170k/yr pension paycheck to show that he means business.
