COAST CITIES — Waste Management of North County and Coast Waste Management’s residential trash and recycling pick-up schedule will be delayed by one day throughout the week of Sept. 3, in observance of Labor Day. This means customers in Carlsbad, Del Mar, Oceanside, Rancho Santa Fe and Solana Beach should place their containers out for pick-up one day later than usual, beginning Sept. 4 through Sept. 8.“Residential customers who usually receive service on Monday will instead receive it Tuesday, and so on throughout the week, with Friday’s customers receiving service on Saturday,” said Lori Somers, Community and Municipal Relations Representative. “We appreciate our customers’ cooperation with the holiday schedule so that our employees can observe Labor Day.”
Oceanside’s commercial trash and recycling service will be delayed by one day during this week. All other cities’ commercial trash and recycling services will not be affected by the holiday – these services will remain on the regular Monday through Saturday schedule.
All local Waste Management offices, recycling centers and the customer service center will be closed on Sept. 3, with normal operations resuming Sept. 4. Customer service is available at (866) 967-3292.
