This article is poorly written and extremely confusing. The headline is that the council voted to remove it, but later in the article you have the Mayor Pro Tem telling Wilkinson “that they would not remove it and not put something in its place”. So which is it? Or is the mayor at odds with the council’s vote? This article reads like the various paragraphs were written by different people who didn’t talk to each other prior to publishing.
