They need to contact the same people who responded to this survey and ask the questions like:

1. Do you want 4 and 5 story buildings in Encinitas?
2. Do you want to keep Encintitas the way that is now?
3. Do you want to add more density and more units?

Everyone loves Encinitas as it is now, but that does not say anything about the change they are trying to force onto us. I predict that people would NOT want to see the changes the the Planning Department has been pushing, and I don't beleive that we are forced to take the housing that they have claimed.

Encinitas should use resources to capture citizen sentiment about the Planning Department's proposal to upzone our city and make it 4 stories with the General Plan they are trying to push though.

Equating the interests of Encinitas taxpayers with those of developers who stand to make money by destroying our City and people who work in Encinitas but don't live here is a terrible idea.

This country has given away technology and jobs to places like China. Don't give away our way of life to developers and special interests to convert to cash to line their own pockets!

If voters go back and examine the schedule for the past surveys, they always coincide with when Jerome Stocks runs for election. He was barely elected last time, but these citizen-paid political polls that he uses to help him say he is doing a good job might be just enough to help him scrape by again.

We pay and pay and pay through increased pay raises and penisions for City employees, deals for developer Sugar Daddies and other special interests--just so that Jerome Stocks can continue to be on the City Council and serve on SANDAG.

Dump Stocks!
