I’m concerned that ERAC will begin a “mapping exercise,” without concurrent public workshops. As it now stands, so much density seems to be planned for Old Encinitas and Leucadia. I feel all of the communities in Encinitas should share in the burden of providing for projected affordable housing. Also, for the portion of the General Plan Update, which includes elements of the original General Plan, from 1989, we should be given a “red-line version” which would show where the previous language was eliminated (lined out) and amended.
