CARLSBAD — Carlsbad Police arrested Luciano Velasquez in Oceanside in connection with the shooting of three people Oct. 10 in the 3400 block of Madison Street in Carlsbad.
Velasquez was booked into the Vista Detention Facility for three counts of attempted murder and participating in street gang activities.
The shooting wounded three people in which patrol officers responded to the scene. All victims were transported to local hospitals where they were treated for their injuries. None of the injuries were considered life threatening.
