ENCINITAS — Just as the fun was about to heat up, the lights went out. But the Encinitas Taste of Mainstreet was not daunted and is on again from 6 to 9 p.m. Sept. 15.
After the Sept. 8 power outage, planners rescheduled and tickets are still available at encinitas101.com/events/the-20th-annual-taste-of-mainstreet/.
The 22nd Annual Taste of MainStreet International Food Festival in downtown Encinitas offers more than 40 unique eateries.
For the third year we will be holding the People’s Choice Award. We encourage every event attendant to vote for their favorite bite of the night by coming into the DEMA office at 818 S. Coast Highway 101. Taste of MainStreet allows ticketed participants the chance to taste sample-size offerings from 33 restaurants in downtown Encinitas.
The night will feature music in five different locations along Highway 101. The event lineup includes Randy Fontaine and the Swingers in the Center Courtyard of the Lumberyard, Allison Adams Tucker & Allegato World Jazz in front of Leucadia Pizzeria, Tropical Breeze in front of Kealani’s, The Jack Stiteler Jazztet at the DEMA Office and Russell Castiglione at Swami’s Café.
Tickets may be purchased using cash, check, or Visa/MasterCard, and are available online at encinitas101.com, or in person at the DEMA office.
Even if tasting tickets are sold out, it is still a great night to be in Downtown Encinitas. Come enjoy the musical performances and have dinner at one of the great restaurants.
