Concert to support local musician

CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA — The community is invited to lend a hand at the “Benefit for a Brother” celebration and fundraiser for Paulo Mattioli, a well-known local musician battling brain cancer.
The event is set from 6 to 11 p.m. July 17 at the Elks Club Encinitas
1393 Windsor Road. The evening will include music by Semisi & the Fula Bula Band, Adrenne Nims & Spirit Wind, Peter Sprague, Sene Africa, Damaru, Drums of Fire & the Primal Pulse Dancers. There will also be silent auctions, a dance concert, food and a full bar. The cost is $15.
Sponsors ask all to help raise funds for Mattioli’s ongoing medical treatments and to lift his spirits. Those who cannot attend, but would like to contribute to the fund, can do so by Paypal at [email protected]
