VISTA — The eighth annual Bluegrass Festival and Ice Cream Social will tune up from 4 to 6:30 p.m. July 24 at the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe, 640 Alta Vista Drive, in the Rancho Buena Vista Adobe’s courtyard. Lonesome Otis Bluegrass Band will provide the music, while guests enjoy a cool ice cream sundae or root beer float. Admission at the door is $12 and includes the sundae or float.
Watch for more events coming up at the Adobe throughout the coming months. On Aug. 28, the Adobe will host a Hoedown with music by Lazy Brad Lewis’ Band and line-dancing instruction, too.
Sept. 18 will be the second annual Country Antique Roadshow and Oct. 9 is a traditional Chili Cookoff. Dec. 4 will welcome in the holiday season with the annual Christmas Home Tour.
