Carol King, of Rancho San Luis Rey Park, and T.C. Townsend, of Oceanside, are two of the more than 100 protesters holding signs and waving to drivers along El Camino Real in Oceanside, June 3. The protesters are in opposition to Oceanside City Council’s recent approval of vacancy decontrol, which allows mobile home park owners to raise space rent rates for captive mobile home owners. Protesters are in the process of collecting signatures so the item can be put on the next election ballot.
