CARLSBAD — The Museum of Making Music invites girls ages 12 to 18 to a two-hour Daisy Rock Girl Guitar Workshop at 2 p.m. June 24.
Musician, author, clinician and educator Nikki O’Neill will lead The Daisy Rock Girl Guitar Workshop. All of the guitars at the workshop have been built just for girls.
Beginning guitar players will learn the basic chords and strumming patterns, how to play pop and rock songs learn how to and write songs, too. At the end of the workshop, the students will have been taught one current pop song and one campfire classic.
