MiraCosta College offers summer fun classes
COAST CITIES — Summer community service classes will be offered at MiraCosta College. The schedule will include:
— Ballroom Rhythm Dances, 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., June 3 through July 8, Room 204, at MiraCosta College’s San Elijo Campus, 3333 Manchester Avenue, Cardiff. Also offered 7:45 to 9 p.m. July 15 to Aug. 19. Fee: $65.
— Ballroom Smooth Dances, 7:45 to 9 p.m. June 3 through July 8,or 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., July 15 to Aug. 19, also in Room 204 at the San Elijo Campus. Fee: $65.
— Computer Basics Short Course, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. June 1 through June 15, Room 4607, at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. Not for Mac users. Fee: $45.
— The Art of Creative Painting, June 4 through July 16 (no class July 2), 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Room 205 at the San Elijo Campus. Fee: $90.
— Drawing for Pleasure, June 4 through July 9 (no class July 2), 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Room 302, at the San Elijo Campus. Fee: $90.
— Painting in Oils for Beginners, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., June 1 to June 29, Room 406, at the San Elijo Campus. Fee: $75.
— Painting in Oils II, 9 a.m. to noon June 4 through July 23 (no class July 2), Room 406, at the San Elijo Campus. Fee: $75.
— Sewing: Beginning Techniques, 9 a.m. to noon June 3 through July 8, Room 4526, at the Oceanside Campus. Fee: $69.
— Sewing: Clothing Alterations, Times not given, July 15 to Aug. 26, Room 4526, at the Oceanside Campus. Fee: $69.
— Stained Glass for Beginners, June 4 through June 18, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Don Myers Stained Glass, 1025 S. Coast Highway, Oceanside. Fee: $95.
