CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. — Associated Press reports that NASA has called off the April 29 Endeavour launch because of a heater failure.
Commander Mark Kelly, husband of Congressman Gabrielle Giffords, and his crew were en route to the launch pad when they received word that NASA had halted the countdown.
According to NASA spokesman George Dillard, the next try will be May 1 at the earliest.
