SCOUTING FOR FOOD

Encinitas Cub Scout Pack 774 and its leaders loaded a truck with 3,400 pounds of foods for the Encinitas Community Resource Center on April 19. The pack works to donate two tons of food each year. The pack was awarded the Certificate of Appreciation by the Community Resource Center for the food drives in North County. The Scouts have spent many hours at local grocery stores asking patrons for donations in addition collecting food in their neighborhood. Courtesy photo
