ENCINITAS — The San Dieguito Academy High School Girls Water Polo Team will be holding a Turkey Taco Showdown fundraiser party at Mr. Peabody’s, 136 Encinitas Blvd. from 5 to 9 p.m. Feb. 26. As the team is not subsidized by the school district, members must constantly work to raise money to pay for the cost of coaching, practice pool, equipment and tournaments.
The Turkey Taco Showdown will feature an all-out Turkey Taco Eating Contest, along with ongoing entertainment and prize-winning raffles.
Anyone who’d like to lend a hand toward the fundraising is asked to donate any gift certificate or new/gently used item or to be raffled/ auctioned at the party by bringing your donation to Mr. Peabody’s anytime or by e-mailing [email protected] or calling

Donators may send a donation in the form of a check, payable to San Dieguito Academy Foundation, with “Girls Water Polo” in the memo space. These may be mailed to 136 Encinitas Blvd., Encinitas CA 92024
Supporters are also invited to visit Mr. Peabody’s and make a $1, $5 or $10 “Polo Ball on the Wall Donation” or by purchase the Cage Burger which includes a $1 donation to our team, available through March 15.
