Wow, you know a lot of history about what happens in council chambers. I think only Councilmen Stocks and Bonds have been there that long. Have you seen them lately?

In reply to comments from the ignorant fool who calls himself "Belleview" (or is it Bellevue?):

I am not insulted by this individual. He can be excused for not being able to distinguish truth from misconception because, his spirit is weak and his understanding small.

If Mr. Belleview can muster up the guts to publicly disclose his real identity, I will gladly forward copies of my diplomas to him.

Certainly, the issues raised should not, resonably, be ignored. The city has a track record of attempting to ignore pertainent health issues in the past on this site. It took a citizen’s lawsuit to force an appropriate EIR on the former greenhouse land. The city has ignored Planning Commission recomdations and deceived the public, saying the Planning Commission approved and certified the EIR.
I agree with Dr. Graziano’s comments. Belleview’s comments do not address ANY of the issues and only offer personal attacks. I would be interested in reading Belleview’s comments and disputes of the actual facts presented.
Is it the responsibility of our city leaders to inform and research the enviornmental impacts of taxpayers funded civic projects? Of course it is.

Dietmar Rothe has raised issues that should be of concern to parents and he has provided a reasonable basis for these concerns. Attempts to discredit him personally without addressing the merits of the issue indicates to me that his concerns probably have validity that others simply choose to ignore.

Dietmar Rothe is a quack who has been on the record against anything and everything that has been proposed in this City since before incorporation.
Rothe has tried to foist his crank ideas before the Encinitas City Council on various occasions; usually promoted to the dais by the ‘Grinch Who Stole Cardiff’, Bob Bonde, and Rothe claimed to be an engineer, until he was asked to produce documentation; and then he deflated because he had been found out.
What a farce!
