Speakers set for Kiwanis Club

CARLSBAD — The Kiwanis Club of Carlsbad has planned a full schedule for November. The club meets every Tuesday at 7:15 a.m. at The Canyons Restaurant at The Crossings Golf Course, 5800 The Crossings Road.
Scott Smith will update the group on “Laser Technology and Your Health” Nov. 16 and on Nov. 23, the group will hear from Jeremy Metts, project director of Outside the Bowl, a nonprofit organization that helps eliminate physical and spiritual starvation by building super kitchens in developing communities.
On Nov. 30, Erica Leary, program manager of the North Coast Prevention Coalition, Vista Community Clinic, will speak to the club.
