Bomb squad investigating at San Diego State
SAN DIEGO — According to Sandiego6.com, a portion of San Diego State has been closed while a bomb squad investigates a suspicious package at the campus’ trolley stop.
Police say the package was found by an MTS bus worker at the campus transit center.
The Aztec Center, the Adams Humanities Building and the campus transit center have been evacuated and are closed.
While the campus remains open, school officials are asking students and employees to avoid the closed areas. The closed off area is near College Avenue and Hardy Avenue.
Trolley service to the campus is currently not running, despite earlier estimations that service might resume around 3 p.m. For now the closure is indefinite.
