Minnesota,

The Encinitas Taxpayers Org. is not partisan, nor is it bogus. They gave Ms. Gaspar many opportunities to share her positions, and Ms. Gaspar even wrote that she would provide them with her views. Her choice to go back on her word is a comment on her character, not on the prestige of the group.

What is truly a misrepresentation is quoting 1 blogger, Chris Reed, as representing the "Union Tribune." He had his blog taken from him shortly after attacking Teresa Barth. As some pointed out to the new owners, Mr. Reed does not even meet the journalistic standards of a blogger! My hats off to the new owner for breaking the 3 stories on Dan Dalager's pattern of unethical activities and for getting rid of Chris Reed's ignorant blog!

The slate mailer that the Dalager/Gaspar sent out is also filled with documentable misinformation and lies. I am assuming that Chris Reed and Ms. Gaspar must have gone through the same jounalism program!

I would also point out that Teresa Barth and Tony Kranz answered the questions the group asked, and they are not the ones who are under scrutiny for criminal investigations by the County DA!

RE: Taxpayers Group...

The Coast News is showing such unprofessional bias by allowing Bill Arballo, the father of Councilwoman Barth, to AGAIN write a column quoting a bogus partisan taxpayer group that amazingly gives his daughter the highest marks and her opponents the lowest. First he shouldn't be doing any articles that involve her and secondly if he does he should disclose the relationship. SHAME ON THE COAST NEWS!
