BOXES FOR THE CURE

Mary Beth Jones of the Susan G. Komen Foundation – San Diego Affiliate, congratulated PostalAnnex+ store owners Bosco Veloso, Kirk Krikorian, Beverly and Jeff Young, Tim Roth, Nancy Rasor, Ron Roy, and Sandy Rabourne, along with Susan G. Komen Foundation – San Diego Affiliate, for the guarantee of a donation of at least $15,000 in sales from specially-marked, pink-ribbon boxes to the San Diego affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization. The donation will remain locally and help women unable to afford the cost of a mammogram the ability to get early screening for preventative care. In addition, participating stores will be gathering additional donations for Komen by selling placards in-store for $1 each. Donors may write their name or the name of a loved one on the card before it is posted on the wall in-store during the month for all to be aware that October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
