My brother and i went to school with Moose. My brother hooked up with Moose on FB. When Moose heard of my brother Dans car accident while on a surfing trip with his family in Santa Barbra he steped in to help. Dan broke his neck and is a partial quadriplegic. His tree yr. old son was killed instantly. To everyones amazement his wife had only minor scrapes and bruses. His wife was then taken from us in a car accident 15 months later on her way to the cemetary to put flowers on there sons grave. It would have been his 4th birthday.
Dan found a organization called Life Rolls On ( they well surf again). With the help of volunteers he is able to get back out on the waves. He is also involved with Project Walk. I haven’t seen my brother so happy since his accident. He says thet being out in the water makes him feel alive again. Moose has been helping him make a custom board with a removable jet pack. Totally Kewl huh! These jet packs don’t come cheap, but Moose is working on getting one for Dans board. Thank you for letting me share this story and many many thanks to Moose.
