A parcel of that size and close proximity to the beach, would be impossible for the City to aquire ever again. The debate lacks vision if the best proposal to come forward is to rezone to residential use. Private developers will find a way to boost the density to the point of destroying the character, scale and charm of the neighbornood, simialr to what just happened in downtown Encinitas on the 101.]]></description>
