Partners welcome new students to Horizon Prep

RANCHO SANTA FE — The Horizon Prep Lions were geared up and ready to roar into a new school year Aug. 30, hosting a special “Teacher Meet & Greet” and a New Family and First-Grade Orientation to calm the first-day-of-school jitters for Horizon
Prep’s 425 preschool through eighth-grade students.
“This is a great way to show students and their families, that we are
ready for them and truly excited about what this year has in store!” said Horizon Prep Interim Vice Principal Holly Morey.
New students are assigned a Prep Pal family to ease their transition into a new school. “With 39 new students in kindergarten to eighth grade, Prep Pals is a great way for new families to know how much we care about them,” said Horizon Prep Registrar and Director of Enrollment Services Allisen Hemple. “It’s thrilling to see new students being greeted by name by their new friends on the first day of school.”
