I see Jerry Kern is already complaining that the opposing council members want to make additions to the charter. That is false. Actually this was an idea brought up by Rick Kratcoski. If it gains support from some of the council members that is great. Why is Jerry so concerned that new charter additions could actually protect the citizen of Oceanside from council bloc power and manipulations.

Please also read the articles below mine about how the charter came to Oceanside. It seems that our supposed local community paper that just endorsed Kern and Felien would not print my article about charter amendments. What are they afraid of and why can they spew their opinion in their paper and not allow others the same right. Sounds like a corporate paper rather than a community paper. I suggest you stop buying their paper until they stop endorsing candidates. There is no need for them to endorse any candidate. They should stay neutral since their editorials are like free advertisement to politicians.
