Spaces still available in preschoolers program

SAN MARCOS — Raggedy Ann & Andy Preschoolers Program is a recreational enrichment program for children 3 to 5 years old offered by city of San Marcos Community Services. The program focuses on socialization skills with an introduction to academic concepts. Five sessions are offered throughout the year: fall, holiday, winter, spring, and summer. Children learn social skills while participating in arts and crafts, storytelling, outdoor play and learning fun.
The registration procedure for the fall session (Sept. 7 to Nov. 19) requires that parents come to the San Marcos Community Center located at 3 Civic Center Drive to fill out paperwork and registration fees. Bring the child’s birth certificate and proof of residency via a current utility bill.
Classes are held at the San Marcos Community Center and San Elijo Recreation Center. The fee for San Marcos residents is $535 for Monday/Wednesday/Friday and $324 for Tuesday/Thursday. Nonresidents pay an additional $20 per session. Call (760) 744-9000 for more information.
