Church hosts clothing swap

VISTA — Tri-City Christian Church will accept used clothing for its second annual Free Clothing Swap Drive from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 29 in the gym at Tri-City Christian School, 302 N. Emerald. The Clothing Swap is an effort to make hard times easier. The public is invited to bring clothes they no longer use and take what they need, free of charge. Bags will be provided.
The church is accepting all sizes of baby, youth, teens and adult clothing, including coats and shoes. People can drop off clothes weekdays at the Tri-City Christian school office. Volunteers are also accepting clothes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 28 at the gym. This will give volunteers time to sort clothes by size for the clothing swap Aug. 29.
Several dry cleaners are donating clothes that people dropped off and never picked up. Contact Diane Record at (858) 531-1746 or at [email protected], or visit www.tri-citychurch.com for more information.
