RSF Toastmasters achieves Distinguished Club status

RANCHO SANTA FE — Rancho Santa Fe Toastmasters was honored with the title “Distinguished Club.” This was accomplished by having two members complete their Competent Communicator manual of 10 speeches, have all officers complete required training, recruit four new members and have 20 members in the club.
Because the club earned recognition as a Distinguished, Toastmasters World Headquarters will send club President Laura Akers a ribbon for display on the club banner and a congratulatory letter. The club’s officers also will be invited to attend the Club Leadership Luncheon held during the International Convention in August, where they will be recognized for the club’s achievement.
Dave Carroll, Toastmasters District 5 governor, and Woodrow Wilson, Northern Division governor, were among the Toastmaster dignitaries attending a celebratory meeting at the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center on June 29 to recognize this achievement. Toastmaster meetings are Tuesdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Rancho Santa Fe Community Center. Contact Laura Akers at (858) 876-0066 or [email protected]
