My heart goes out to you Ellie. Cell phones are deadly devices. I have been suffering from electrosensitivity for the past 8 years, brought on by cell phone use. "Frank1970" has a very good point — there are many professions whose employees come in close proximity to antennas and towers and there is no requirement to warn of the hazards of RF radiation. We suggest you write to your unions and ask that hazard signs be posted. Who would like to stand in front of an unshielded microwave oven and work? It defies logic.
To "Paniolo", use a wired earpiece that goes from the phone to your ear. Not Bluetooth except for short calls and then take it off your ear. It is constantly emitting & receiving RF radiation when on. For a list of radiation emissions by brand, go on this website: Ewg.org and hit link ‘Cell Phone Radiation Report’.

Is there information available that discloses which phones, locations, carriers carry the most risks? Does an earpiece reduce the risk ?
I think I need this type of info quickly as I’ve been a big cphone user for 20 years.

My sympathies to Ellie and her husband as well as sincere thanks for their dedication and efforts.

Another group of victims includes all workers (roofers, painters, electricians and others) whose jobs require that they work in front of and close to wireless RF transmitting antennas that are everywhere today.

In response to Ray Yargeau’s question about the cell equipment on top of the Coast News offices, assessment of the intensity of each tower must be done on a site by site basis. The distance outward from a cell tower creates the ‘zone of RF impact’. RF exposures around antennas can vary widely. My experience has been the cell-siting companies grossly underestimate the potential for hazard from the sites. Health does not concern them. Getting the deal closed is what they get paid for.
