DEL MAR — The San Diego County Fair wrapped up its three-week run on July 5.
The final weekend was full of activities including performances by comedian Jeff Dunham on July 3 and rock legend Joan Jett, a San Diego County Fair veteran, on July 4.
A monster truck competition was held July 3, with first place going to Jimmy Creten, driver of the Bounty Hunter.
The fairgrounds will have a few weeks until activities resume with the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club racing beginning July 21.
