For those who think smoking is FUN, watch the documentary "Marlborough Man" The scene where he bribes the nurse into bringing him a cigarette and was breathing through a tube sticking out of his neck, he sticks the cigarette into the tube and sucks on it… really insane behavior.

What a bunch of nannies we all have become. First it’s no fire rings, then it’s no drinking, now it’s no cigarettes. I guess all of the fun that people used to have on the beach in the ’50′s, ’60′s, and 70′s isn’t allowed to be enjoyed by the next generations.

I have had enough of the aging Baby Boomer telling me “NO” to everything. Screw them and their hypocrisy, but I guess that’s why they are called the “Me Generation,” they just can’t share.

Bring back cigarettes, fire rings and beer and wine on the beaches. And why I’m at it, let’s bring back Frankie, Annette and Moon Doggie for some real fun parties on the actual beach.

Butt out Solana Beach whiners and leave us all alone.

To quote the greatest lover of true Freedom, Thomas Jefferson, “I predict future happiness for
Americans if they can prevent the government
from wasting the labors of the people under the
pretense of taking care of them.”

What was it you ’60′s Hippies used to say, “It’s a Free country.” Well sure isn’t anymore when city council blowhards keep telling me what to do.

I’m guessing that many of them and their old-cronies in Solan Beach actually hung out at Fletcher Cove with my older siblings to smoke “grass” and take hits of acid when it was known as “Pill Box.”

Shut up and do some real work for a change.
