CARLSBAD — As Americans age, important questions about the quality and quantity of life are on the minds of many. The inquiry on how, what, when and where to open a dialogue with your family members and loved ones on end-of-life considerations are more relevant than ever.
The Carlsbad senior center, at 799 Pine St., is hosting lectures from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. May 27 that explore the changing views of death and dying in America, and how to talk about and prepare for the inevitable. Counselor Patrick Davis will present communication techniques, how to use assessment tools, and offer easy-to-follow rules of engagement.
