College honored by cities

SAN MARCOS — The Escondido City Council declared Feb. 24, 2010, as Cal State San Marcos Day in the city in honor of the university’s 20th anniversary in 2010.
Mayor Lori Holt Pfeiler, an alumna of the Cal State San Marcos Master’s of Business Administration program, presented the proclamation to Vice President of University Advancement Neal Hoss at a recent City Council meeting.
The college has been similarly honored by the city of San Marcos. Vice Mayor Hal Martin declared it Cal State San Marcos Day in the city on Jan. 28, 2010, during the university’s 20th Anniversary Kick-Off event. The County of San Diego Board of Supervisors declared it Cal State San Marcos Day countywide on Jan. 26, 2010.
