SAN MARCOS — The city of San Marcos Community Services will host a free bike tour starting at 9 a.m. Jan. 16. The ride will start at Double Peak Park, at 900 Double Peak Drive. This tour involves some intensive riding that includes steep grades and gradual inclines. The ride will explore trails on the southwestern side of the city. It is approximately 10 miles in length and is geared towards the rider who wants a more physically strenuous activity. There will be some stops along the way to regroup.
