SOLANA BEACH — Solana Beach is hosting its annual Bulky Item Clean-Up Day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 24 in the La Colonia Community Center parking lot at the Valley Avenue entrance. Waste Management will provide roll-off containers for easy drop-off of items such as furniture, scrap metal, mattresses and yard waste.
Additionally, Solana Beach residents may call Waste Management at (800) 386-7783 through Oct. 19 to schedule an appointment to receive free curbside pickup and disposal of up to three bulky items.
Items need to be curbside by 7 a.m. Oct. 24. Hazardous waste or e-waste is not included in this collection event.
