New photo exhibit up at clinic

VISTA — The PhotoArts Group has accepted an invitation to display its members’ artwork year-round at the Chiropractic Rehabilitation Wellness Center in downtown Vista.
The photo cooperative, which opened its first permanent exhibit space a year ago in downtown Escondido, will cement the new agreement with a show titled “Summer Diary” at the clinic through Jan. 23.
“When the kids head back to school in September, you can usually count on their first assignment being ‘How I Spent my Summer Vacation,’” said Patty Waite of Vista, who is coordinating the show. “What would happen if you asked a group of adult photographers to respond to the same question? That’s ‘Summer Diary.’”
An artists reception for the 15 photographers participating in “Summer Diary” will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Oct. 24 at the center, 115 Main St., which is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. For more information about PAG, visit www.photoartsgroup.org. For information about the center, call (760) 726-9660 or visit www.crwellnesscenter.com/index.html.
