Above, 16-year-old K5 Team rider Austin Ganz of Carlsbad, a senior at Carlsbad High School, helped Team O’Neill win the 2009 Switchfoot Bro-Am, along with Cory Lopez, Kyle Knox and Noah Erickson. When asked what it was like for the goofy-footer, Ganz said “My regular stance was easy scoring a few 7s, but by Switchfoot, it was just fun.
