OCEANSIDE — After years of planning, North County Health Services, a nonprofit community healthcare organization providing services in North County, opened its newest health center July 13 at 605 Crouch Street, Building C. The new site replaces the NCHS health center on Cassidy Street, allowing for an increase in capacity to serve patients. The 12,000-square-foot facility will offer pediatrics, obstetrics, adult medicine, mental health, pharmacy and health education services.
“The success story of this major project is built upon the dedication and generosity of countless individuals and community organizations,” said Irma Cota, president and chief executive officer at NCHS. “Its opening represents the tireless efforts of numerous volunteers, donors, board members and staff throughout a long but exciting capital campaign.”
“We are a comprehensive community health clinic system in North County and it’s important to us that we are accessible to our patients throughout the region,” Cota said. “The need for providing low-cost, quality comprehensive services will continue to be a priority and NCHS plans to meet the growing demand for affordable healthcare by adding additional medical offices such as this new facility.”
