Camp Pendleton Big Brothers seek volunteers

NORTH COUNTY — Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County’s Operation Bigs needs civilian and military volunteers to serve the children of Camp Pendleton families who have a parent deployed. Spend one-on-one time with an elementary school-aged child, once a week for one hour, interacting, playing sports or board games. Call (619) 665-7971 for more information.
Big Brothers Big Sisters is the oldest and largest youth mentoring organization in the United States. The organization has been the leader in one-on-one youth service for more than a century, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people.
Big Brothers Big Sisters of San Diego County serves children, ages 7 through 18, in six distinct programs: Amachi, Bigs in Schools, Community Mentoring, High School Bigs, Operation Bigs and Sports Bigs.
