I am so tired of hearing that this sends the wrong message to children when we happily swill alcohol around kids all the time. Somehow we manage to justify this message to children and we simply educate them and tell them there are many thing that adults can do responsibly that is not appropriate for kids. The problems with marijuana are caused by prohibition. Do you really think kids don’t use marijuana now? They can buy it easily at any high school, unlike beer.

Where do you think gangs get their money? They sell drugs. If people who used drugs stopped using drugs and OBEYED THE LAW, there would be no drug war. That is the simple fact. American free choice, American disregard for law, and American unwillingness to take responsibility, that’s the problem here.

Courts have passed judgement? You bet! They’ve passed judgement millions of times against drug dealers and users. Why should we ignore all of those to the few judgements that allow medical marijuana?

get with it oceanside, the battle is over, the people have spoken, the courts have passed judgement, medical mj is legal. and some day soon, it will be legalized completely. focus on your gangs , and violence quit wasting tax payers money fighting the people. like the drug czar said, ” regardless of how you try to explain to people its a ‘war on drugs’ or a ‘war on a product’ people see it as a war on them. we are not at war with people in this country
