Local resident publishes debut novel

SAN MARCOS — “Best of Luck Elsewhere,” the debut novel by Trisha Haddad of San Marcos, combines murder and romance with the normally staid world of publishing.
Trisha Haddad is a 29-year-old writer living and working in San Diego County. The granddaughter of mystery writer Helen Haddad, “Best of Luck Elsewhere” is her first published work of fiction. Haddad has worked at a literary agency in Del Mar and currently works downtown in academic publishing.
