One thing we can't afford is more money wasted on the ill conceived project to push through development of Pacific View School for high density mixed use, three story purposes.

Bob Nanninga, who died on 2/14/09, strongly favored a public hearing regarding this matter, which would take into account the state law that the law provides cities can buy land that has been used for schools and school fields at a reduced price. The timeline begins with respect to when the City stopped leasing the Pacific View site from EUSD for one dollar per year, for its temporary public works yard.

EUSD administrators, including Randy Duke Cunningham's defamed wife, who was his "partner in crime," and allowed for defense contractors to provide he with expensive antique furniture and pay for her daughter's 16 year old "coming out party" in DC, should make much less money.

I am glad King is retiring. To me, he seems mired in the bureaucracy of patting his sycophants on their shoulders, going along with the "good old boys." We need someone who can think outside the expansion and development box. We cannot continue to count on expanding property tax revenues in this time of recession; that is apparent.

Cut administrators salaries and perks!
